About

Internet is passion and a hobby for me. I would like to have the opportunity to turn this passion into a job, which is why I started to design some websites in freelance.

This used to help me to pay my studies and getting some required first experiences.
I think it is now time  for me to use this experience in a company or agency that could help me growing and keep learning new skills, new way of dealing with customers, etc.

I first started to learn HTML and Photoshop by myself in High School to make some website for my friends and myself.
I then choose my studies in this field I started to discover and appreciate: Multimedia and Webdesign as a communication tool and service.

So I joined a 2 years degree at University of Corsica (France) to get more skills and validate the one I already had.
The subjects in this technical degree included Web development, Graphic design, Audiovisual techniques, Communication and Marketing…
It also gave me the opportunity to work in 2 companies for internships:

  1. CTI COM, an advertising/communication agency specialized in Web and Print. This was my first real experience inside a company, to see how it worked, the relations between the staff and the customers, how difficult it can be to achieve and understand their needs…

  2. PopCliQ, a web agency in Canada in which the members are also part of the core team of the world famous Joomla CMS. This experience allowed me to see how to work in a different country, to see a different way of working from the previous agency, and to be part of a worldwide Open Source project.

While studying, I started to make some websites for small companies like building/construction enterprises, real-estate, night-club…

I then continued to study one more year, in Ireland this time, to get a Bachelor of Computer Engineering in Athlone IT and extend my skills in different areas than Multimedia, in order to have a proper IT background, which is in my opinion necessary when computers are our main working tool.
